Why everyone keeps coming back.

Located on the bustling Jl. Ngapak - Kentheng in Sidokarto, Sleman, Pecel Lele Kang Muss is a must-visit culinary destination for anyone craving authentic Indonesian flavors, especially the iconic pecel lele—a beloved dish of crispy deep-fried catfish served with spicy sambal and fresh vegetables. This humble yet vibrant pecel lele restaurant captures the heart of traditional Yogyakarta street food, elevating it with quality ingredients and a touch of home-cooked passion.

The menu here is a treasure trove of local delights. Beyond the signature pecel lele, guests can customize their meal with a variety of tempting toppings such as cakar (chicken feet), bakso (meatballs), katsu (crispy fried cutlet), and eggs. For noodle lovers, the balance of flavors in the mie kuah (noodle soup) and mie goreng (fried noodles) is perfectly seasoned with rich, aromatic spices—you can choose your preferred spice level, from mild warmth to a fiery ‘pedas nonjok’ (punchy spicy) kick that truly awakens the senses.

Dining at Kang Muss is an inviting experience that combines comfort with casual local charm. The atmosphere buzzes with friendly chatter, the clinking of plates, and the sizzling sounds from the kitchen, creating an authentic street-food vibe that feels both lively and welcoming. Reviewers like Sabril praise the “mantap” (delicious) taste and wallet-friendly prices, while others such as Florentina appreciate the customizable spice levels and flavorful rempah (spice blends) that leave a lasting impression.

Whether you're a spice enthusiast eager for a robust sambal experience, or simply someone searching for good, hearty Indonesian cuisine without breaking the bank, Pecel Lele Kang Muss offers an unpretentious yet gratifying meal. It’s a local secret worth savoring, where every bite tells a story of rich culinary tradition and genuine hospitality.
